All invites are sent on Google calendar, which if set up, will also sync with your mobile calendar. Please make sure your notifications are set to sync and other settings are adjusted to your preference.
All meetings and calls internally are set up via Zoom. Zoom offers several tools, including options to sync with calendars, share screens for presentations, and integrate files from various platforms. You can record important meetings (with permission from all participants), use whiteboards for brainstorming sessions, and create breakout rooms for smaller discussions. For scheduling calls, you will need to coordinate time slots and calendar availability within spaces. You can make individual calls to your teammates through the Zoom app on your phone or desktop, or send them a call request directly through Zoom.
However, sometimes client meetings may take place on Teams or Google Meet. Despite this, we still encourage clients to use Zoom whenever possible.
For over 10 years, we’ve tried a variety of platforms such as Telegram, Google Meet, WhatsApp, Messenger, but we’ve continued with Facebook Messenger, a platform we've relied on for years—even if it’s not as popular with Gen Z. Many team members use it primarily because of its long-standing integration at Endorphin.
While these platforms are essential for communication, we ask that you be mindful of each other's time and space. If you need to contact someone outside of these apps or during non-work hours, please request their permission beforehand, especially if it's outside regular working hours. It’s important for all of us to respect each other's boundaries, particularly in hybrid work setups where personal and professional life can easily overlap.
Before any meeting, ask yourself, can this be an email instead? If yes, don’t send out that meeting invite. We encourage an active writing-first culture.
Distributed working is hard. Anyone who has joined a meeting remotely while others are in a conference room knows this pain. It’s important that all meetings provide an opportunity for everyone involved to participate equally. If any one person is not able to make it (on having informed well in advance) to a physical meeting, the call will be remote for all. You can choose where you want to take this call from, even if a physical office meeting was scheduled.
We use Trello to manage task lists, project planning, and management.
We often use third-party messaging apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, and Facebook Messenger for communication with external stakeholders, in addition to emails. However, these groups are primarily for informal discussions. For official approvals such as costing, content, or other formal matters, email sign-offs will still be required.
We understand that with our current hybrid/remote-active working style, a lot of effort goes towards smooth collaboration. We encourage you to use our subscribed online tools and project trackers to go about your day to day.
A foundational principle that we believe in at Endorphin is for all of us to get our work done without the need for any follow up. We think it’s the best way to show that we respect each others time and reaffirm our commitment to each other. Time that can be spent on creativity.
Below you will find basic information regarding some of the collaboration and delivery coordination tools that we use internally.
